It's Official! Smithville is a Community of Character

The City of Smithville and Bastrop County are now officially members of "Communities of Character" through the International Character First program. Thanks very much to Evelyn Weilert for her tireless work helping both communities work through the process. And thanks to all of our residents and our school system for having the positive character traits emphasized in this program.
