2011 Comprehensive Planning Process Nears End

As 2011 is winding down, we have just a few final components to discuss to complete our Comprehensive Plan. Please join us to discuss your ideas about our Transportation Needs, Housing Issues, and using the Arts for Economic Development. Three meetings will take place in December. Following those meetings, LCRA will compile all the data we've provided on Historic Preservation, Economic Development, Community Development, Parks and Recreation, and so on. The Final Report will be available to the public early in 2012.

We hope that everyone who participated had a great day and got the information they need to make some green improvements in our area. On November 19, the Bastrop County EXPO: Building a better tomorrow, will feature more than 70 exhibitors and speakers. Go to the Bastrop Convention & Exhibition Center on Chestnut Avenue in Bastrop between 9AM and 6PM to learn all you need to know to help rebuild in Bastrop County.
