City Manager Tex Middlebrook

Tex Middlebrook was hired by the City Council in September of 2000. He had previously been the City Manager of Anson, Texas. Tex has one daughter, Mackenzie, who is a Sophomore at Smithville High School. As City Manager he oversees all operations of the City. He has an open door policy and welcomes citizens to come speak with him about any issues or concerns.

City Secretary Brenda Page

Brenda Page began her employment with the city in September of 1986. As City Secretary her responsibilities range from Administrative Assistant of the Mayor, Council and City Manager to Human Resources and Records Manager. Brenda is married to Jack Page, Smithville’s Public Works Director. Together they have four children, and two grandchildren, with another one on the way.

Jack Page has been employed by the City since December 1982. Besides his duties as Public Works Director he is also the City Fire Inspector and SVFD Fire Marshal. As stated in Brenda’s Bio, they have four children and two grandchildren.
