April 1, 2010 the City of Smithville Utility Department will start accepting ACH payments (automatic bank draft transactions). Note that there is no fee for this service. The Utility Department will debit monthly variable amounts. Credit card draft authorization cutaotmers can easily switch to the bank draft at no cost.
You can download the authorization form here. To begin this service just fill out the form and drop it off at the City of Smithville Utility Department offices in City Hall along with a copy of a voided check from the account you want debited. If you have any questions call 512-237-3282 ext. 2103.
