Blue Bunny is a program sponsored by the Smithville Police Association. Every year just before Easter, the Blue Bunny program provides candy and plastic eggs to be gathered in an old-fashioned Easter egg hunt. The event is open to all children in the community and is usually held at the gazebo downtown. The event is topped off with a visit from the Easter Bunny, who is always willing to pose for a picture with your child. The event takes the support of the whole community.
