Drop Box: There are two drop-off payment locations available:

• In front of City Hall
• Behind City Hall, in the alley near the police department payment drop

You may apply for employment with the City of Smithville in one of the following ways:

• In Person: Pick up a paper application at City Hall, located at 317 Main Street, Smithville, TX 78957.
• Online: Complete a fillable employment application form available on the City’s website at:

At this time, a permit is not required to hold a garage sale within the City of Smithville. However, we encourage residents to review the applicable ordinances to ensure compliance with local regulations.
