The City of Smithville is proud to have provided housing through the HOME Grant from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) for more than 25 low-income families in Smithville since 2003.
You MAY qualify for the HOME program if:
- You are the owner and occupant of the home to be assisted; and
- Your home is located within the city limits of Smithville; and
- You have no restrictions or encumbrances or liens that would unduly restrict the good and marketable nature of the ownership interest; and
- You are not delinquent on property taxes; and
- You meet annual household income limits by family size.
