Any discussion about development and growth needs to include a discussion about transportation, in all its forms. Different types of transportation are called "modes" and it is generally well-accepted that a good transportation plan will have something to say about all of them. Additionally, accessibility and safety are important concerns that warrant a robust public discussion.
The Community Forum on Transportation was held on Thursday, September 12 from 6:00PM-7:30PM at City Hall. Watch the meeting recording on Youtube Channel.
Based on information from the Brief Survey that was distributed prior to that meeting, and the ideas generated at that meeting, a more in-depth survey was created. Please take the Post Meeting Transportation Survey to help us determine priorities and opportunities for the Smithville Comprehensive Plan.
Thanks to our facilitators and panelists for their time and for sharing their tremendous expertise!
